Trinity HOPE
Prayer Guide for July – 2026
We begin our prayer time in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. + Amen.
“I thank You, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have kept me this night from all harm and danger; and I pray that You would keep me this day also from sin and every evil, that all my doings and life may please You. For into Your hands, I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things. Let your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen.” Martin Luther
‘Adoration’
Romans 8:31; “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
For citizens of the United States of America, this is a special year for us as we celebrate our 250th Independence Day. We enjoy and hold precious the freedom from the oppression that was upon the lives of our ancestors from a foreign country. As believers, we celebrate every day the priceless freedom which was sacrificially given to us through the precious blood of Jesus Christ on the Calvary cross two thousand years ago. And although we celebrated that empty tomb in our House of Worship just months ago, we need to do it again; Christ is RISEN!!! HE is Risen Indeed!!! How blessed we are living here and being loved, comforted and blessed by our Triune God.
A time of ‘Adoration’ to our Triune God.
· Please take time to sit quietly and gaze at His creation and feel His presence in your life; guiding, forgiving, protecting and loving.
· Think about the provisions, protection and hope that surround you in these challenging times, because of His unfailing love for you.
· Give thanks for where God has placed you in this land where we have so many freedoms and the gifts that you were given to use for Him along your journey.
· Try to grasp the immense work that our Creator is doing in the lives of each Haitian child who attended a Christian school this past year.
‘Confession’
James 5:16; “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
We were born, sinful and unclean, through no fault of our own, but because of the sins of our parents, grandparents…Adam and Eve.
God sent His only Son to die for our sins. Jesus did everything right while he was here on this earth. He loves you with a love that cannot be measured. He gave to the world when no thanks were returned to Him. He healed when there was no hope, and He died without complaint. Jesus did nothing wrong and everything right; all this for you. He lived for you and died for you. Our sins nailed Him to the cross on Calvary and kept Him there until His life on earth had ended.
· A time of personal confession.
Living in self-condemnation for something we have done wrong, we often forget, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus; there is Freedom found in the darkness of the Empty Tomb. So, this very moment we pray, Father, that You will bring to Yourself those who have not yet found a way to silence the accusers within them; the thoughts that condemn as judge and jury. The tragedy is, when we hear those thoughts, we believe them as true! Give us the first of several steps toward relief. Today, we come to the One who is qualified to judge and condemn but, because of His death and resurrection; has set us free. May we find ultimately the joy of living by grace because of the finished work of Jesus Christ our Savior.
‘Thanksgiving’
There will be quite a variety of programs this Fourth of July as we celebrate 250 years of freedom from oppression across the Atlantic Ocean. During those years, we have grown to taken our freedom for granted. Some groups within our borders have abused that freedom and twisted it to fit their narrative. We proclaim that our country is one nation, under God. Satan has caused many living here to twist that statement in ways that place God farther away than He should be from us. Give thanks for the freedom we have in our country. More than that, give thanks for the freedom from sin, death and the devil that Jesus Christ gave to each of us throughout this world. Give thanks that our Triune God has used you to share that truth with every adult and child in your town and around this world.
The Apostle’s Creed; “I believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.”
Heavenly Father, we come to You now with hearts, minds and words filled with ‘Thanksgiving’.”
· We give thanks for our Creator, Redeemer and Holy Spirit.
· We give thanks for the thousands of Haitian children who received a daily meal form Trinity HOPE this past year.
· We give thanks our providence; monetary, food, clothing, timely moisture, shelter and our freedom from oppressive foreign powers.
· As we give of our first fruits may we also give a portion of our best to His children in Haiti who need and are always thankful for the assistance we can provide because of You.
‘Supplications’
Psalm 55; “Listen to my prayer, O God, do not ignore my plea; hear me and answer me. My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught because of what my enemy is saying, because of the threats of the wicked; for they bring down suffering on me and assail me in their anger. My heart is in anguish within me; the terrors of death have fallen on me. Fear and trembling have beset me; horror has overwhelmed me. I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest. I would flee far away and stay in the desert; I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm.” Lord, confuse the wicked, confound their words, for I see violence and strife in the city. Day and night they prowl about on its walls; malice and abuse are within it. Destructive forces are at work in the city; threats and lies never leave its streets. If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide. But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship at the house of God, as we walked about among the worshipers. Let death take my enemies by surprise; let them go down alive to the realm of the dead, for evil finds lodging among them. As for me, I call to God, and the LORD saves me. Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice. He rescues me unharmed from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me. God, who is enthroned from of old, who does not change; he will hear them and humble them, because they have no fear of God. My companion attacks his friends; he violates his covenant. His talk is smooth as butter, yet war is in his heart; his words are more soothing than oil, yet they are drawn swords. Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. But you, God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of decay; the bloodthirsty and deceitful will not live out half their days. But as for me, I trust in you.”
Two hundred-fifty years ago, the majority of the people living in the thirteen colonies were Christians. They were familiar with those last eight words in Psalm 55. “But as for me, I trust in You.” I chose to use the entire Psalm 55 today because of those last eight words. As our country celebrates 250 years of Freedom, it’s really important for us to reflect on the many ways God has protected, directed and blessed this land. We also need to look around today and take an inventory of how we have strayed from the One we Trust. Lord, move us to distance ourselves from satan and renew a right relationship with You. But as for me, I trust in You.
Heavenly Father, we bring our supplications before You;
· Heavenly Father, please continue to lead and bless Trinity HOPE with Your loving hand; may our donor base increase this summer as there will be new growth coming.
· Heavenly Father, please protect Haiti from tropical storms this summer. Place Your mighty arms around Your children to protect them from the elements as hurricane season is here.
· Lord, may you direct, protect and watch over the Christian children and their families as satan would desire to harm them through violent actions by hopeless gangs. Please change their evil ways to repentant hearts.
· Father, bless Your children here in our nation. May we turn to You and draw others closer to Jesus during the many challenges we are facing.
Lord God, bless Your Word wherever it is proclaimed. Make it a Word of power and peace to convert those not yet Your own and to confirm those who have come to saving faith. May Your Word pass from the ear to the heart, from the heart to the lip and from the lip to the life that, as You have promised, Your Word may achieve the purpose for which You sent it; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
2 Corinthians 13:11-14; “Finally, brothers, good-by. Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints send their greetings. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”
“I thank You, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have graciously kept me this day; and I pray that You would forgive me all my sins where I have done wrong, and graciously keep me this night. For into Your hands, I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things. Let your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen.” Martin Luther
May God go before you to guide you; may His arms be beneath you to support you, around you to protect you and above you to bless you. And may the blessings of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit be with you always dear sister and brother in Christ,
In His love, Jay Brinkmeyer
