What would you say?
In an effort to continually improve our operations and help our people grow and develop we are constantly training in a variety of ways. One of those is a two year management and life skills course we offer our most promising feeding program directors by email. The sessions include mathematics, negotiating, administration, communication, management skills, and Christian lifestyles.
Below are responses that were submitted on an exam by each of our current participants on a session asking them to give an example of how they would express God’s truth in differing situations. They were prefaced with, What would you say:
To a friend who has just lost his Christian Mother? “Jesus is the resurrection and life, the death is obligatory after the sin of our first parents but anyone believes in Jesus has the eternal life according to jn 3v16.I give you this advice my friend the comfort became from Jesus because the person who made this promise couldn’t give the lies to us, since your mother was a Christian she is in God's arms. Now you must prepared and persevered in the faith of God so that one day you can be with your mother to sing God’s eternal glory. It is my guest [joyous hope] after my mother's death.” Jean Philippe Frantz Valdo, Jacmel, Haiti
To a child in our schools who asks why and how do I get food at school every day? “You don't receive food at school every day because you are poor or because your perents aren’t able to provide you the food, no, no. You receive the food because of Jesus' love. When Jesus was a person like you and like me he used to feed huger people because of his compassion and his love for them. Jesus is the same in every time He can do the same thing He did when he was there on the earth today. He feeds you because he loves you. How does he do to find money to feed you? He uses people who love him in Canada, United States and Haiti to share his love with you by giving some money to feed you.” Jean Philippe Paul, Gonaives, Haiti
These men are not pastors, English is their third language, but they love the Lord with all their hearts and know their work as Trinity/HOPE feeding program directors is truly His work. I think you will agree that our programs and God’s work are in good hands in Haiti.
