With every trip to Haiti and every minute spent looking at photos the question arises “what will it be like in Heaven?” Will it be more like Nebraska or Haiti? Will I even care? When that time comes I will probably not care and probably will not recall all the worldly questions that were asked throughout my lifetime.

Tonight was men’s choir practice and we breezed through “Leaning on the everlasting arms” and memories of Christian friends in Haiti came flooding back into vacant spaces that were not filled with the minutia that this world poured in today.

When you hear the word ‘courage’ what picture comes into your mind? Often we may think about soldiers, policemen and fireman; people who risk their lives to defend or protect us. Is real courage restricted so such acts of heroism that they perform?
