Bringing HOPE to the children in Haiti

School Sponsorships

One of the ways we see as a really great avenue to pursue to feed more children is School Sponsorship.  Since our beginning, God has brought us from serving 42 in one school to serving about 8031 in 53 schools.  We believe He still has other children to feed and FEED.

To provide the funds to feed children at additional schools, Trinity/HOPE needs individual donors who give undesignated gifts and individuals, groups or congregations which wish to sponsor a school.

We obviously want to be very proactive in attracting both.

We would love the opportunity to speak to you or your group by phone or by personal presentation.  To arrange this, please contact John Hall or Alan Honea.

For more information on Sponsoring a school, please read the following

Questions and Answers on School Sponsorships.

Q. Are children attending all the schools listed fed?

A.  Yes, every child in each school on the list is being fed daily by funds supplied by our donors.

Q.  Since all schools on with Trinity/HOPE are being fed, why sponsor a particular school?

A.  Throughout the year, we send sponsors correspondence about and pictures of their schools.  We also encourage sponsors to go on mission trips with us and visit their schools.  Many people want to develop this relationship with "their school".

Q.  How does this benefit Trinity/HOPE?

A.  The benefit to Trinity/HOPE is when a sponsor chooses to support a school that frees up the funds which had been used for its support.  These funds are then used to start programs for new schools.

Q.  What if after committing to sponsoring a school, I (we) find we are unable to do so or do not care to continue after a period of time?

A.  We know that unforeseen things occur and priorities change, therefore, we know this will also happen with sponsorships.  We just ask that your sponsorship is going to end that you give us whatever notice you can so we can adjust to the change.  This seldom occurs;  most of our sponsors continue from year to year.

Q.  How often do you want the funds sent?  How much at a time?

A.  Once a sponsor has committed to fund a school the timing is up to them.  Some donate much of the funds up front, others monthly, and still others at different times.   Trinity/HOPE only requests that the funds are sent on or before they are needed to feed the children.

Q.  How do I (we) commit to sponsor a school?

A.  If you are interested in sponsoring a school, contact John Hall or Alan Honea via e-mail or at (615)449-2595.  We will put the process in motion.  We assure you that your church or group will grow through this outreach to others and have an excitement for missions that perhaps it has never had before.  You personally may be so blessed by your involvement that it will become one of the great joys of your life.

For the poor shall never cease out of the land:  Therefore, I command thee saying,  Thou shall open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.  - Deuteronomy 15:11
